Major Fire in Zaragoza
A major incident alert has been implemented in Zaragoza as a forest fire took hold on Saturday in the Luna area.
The ferocity of the fire has led to home evacuations in the towns of Asín, Orés and Farasdués, with the fire spreading through Cinco Villas.
As well as ground crews, three helicopters from the Aragon government and one from the environment ministry are fighting the flames, with three amphibious aircraft also sent to the scene.
The cause of the fire is as yet unknown, although the area is on high alert for fires and many of these are as a result of human error or intention.
