Weapons Found

Officers from the Guardia Civil have seized a variety of weapons and other materials believed to have been used in criminal activities, including caps which could be confused as being to those worn by the security service personal, which have the word “police” embroidered on.

The officers noticed a vehicle on the A-7 motorway in Cádiz that upon approaching a traffic queue decided to turn around and drive in the opposite direction on the motorway. The officers witnessed the occupants of the vehicle throw a large bag from the car, which they retrieved, and found to contain the items described, as well as car number plates, one corresponding to a vehicle from the Alicante province.

The officers continued to pursue the vehicle but the occupants managed to abandon the vehicle and flee, evading capture.
