Guardia Civil Take Delivery of New Boat

The Guardia Civil in Alicante have just received a new boat to help in their patrols of the coastal area.

The fixed, inflatable hulled vessel is capable of carrying five crew members, has an enclosed cabin area and powered by two outboard motors.

The boat will be used for fast response to incidents in the area, supporting the other two, larger ships that patrol the coast, mainly being used for fishing inspections, drug trafficking interceptions and routine patrols.
