Hotel Occupancy Up

Hotels across the Costa Blanca are already celebrating an overall anticipated 90% occupancy for the month of August, an increase from the 87% in July.

The figures so far are representing the best summer since 2008, attributed mainly to the recovery of domestic tourism, as well as an increase in visitors from Scandinavian countries.

The results in July were 2% higher than last year and so far this year the figures show a 5% increase overall.
