Unions representing ground staff at Madrid airport have announced strike action next month, following the breakdown of continuing talks to try and resolve an industrial dispute. The workers are from Menzies Aviation, which primarily serves Easyjet and Vueling flights at Madrid, and operate passenger services such as passenger and cargo handling, ramps and baggage. The

The workers are from Menzies Aviation, which primarily serves Easyjet and Vueling flights at Madrid, and operate passenger services such as passenger and cargo handling, ramps and baggage.
The unions are also calling for colleagues at other airports, including Alicante, Barcelona and Malaga, to support their strikes, which will take place for 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening on the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th of September.
