Meanwhile, also on Monday, a Vueling Airbus A320-200 on flight VY-3865 from Asturias to Palma Mallorca rejected a take off after accelerating down the runway, after an engine failure resulted in the aircraft not being able to reach take-off speed. A replacement aircraft was provided after an 11 hour delay, with the broken plane still left at Asturias some days later.
