A Judge has charged 45 suspects in Seville as being part of a network that leaked exam papers and answers to trainee police officers.
Suspicions were raised following complaints to the courts after it was alleged that the brother of a senior police officer had been given favourable treatment, along with his nephew.
As a result of the subsequent investigation, 45 people have been charged with offences relating to leaking the exam papers, including a Superintendent of the Local Police, a member of Seville council, a businessman, five employees of the court and 37 police officers.
Unbeknown to those involved, the answers to the exam that were leaked contained a number of mistakes, the same mistakes which were duplicated in the real examination by 16 of the applicants exactly.
