Refugee Convoy Leaving on Tuesday
A convoy of six buses will leave the Alicante province on Tuesday heading to Hungary to collect 500 refugees and bring them to safety in Alicante. A convoy of six buses will leave the Alicante province on Tuesday heading to Hungary to collect 500 refugees and bring them to safety in Alicante.
This road transport is in addition to the official reception of refugees being arranged by the government and has been organized by a local not for profit organisation.
The convoy will be escorted by members of the Cruz Roja and Doctors Without Borders who will be on hand to dispense medical assistance, as well as offering food, blankets and clothing to those in need.
