For the second day in a row a Guardia Civil patrol car has been smashed into in a collision on the roads of Spain.
This incident occurred at kilometre 9 on the CM-41 road at La Torre de Esteban Hambrán in the province of Toledo, Castile-La Mancha.
Whereas the officers involved in yesterday´s crash were lucky not to have been in their vehicle, the officers today had to be cut from the wreckage by the fire service.
The officers were taken to hospital in a serious condition whilst the other occupants of the four vehicles in total were also treated for a variety of injuries.
