Truck Smashes into Patrol Car

A truck smashed into a Guardia Civil traffic car on the A-4 near the Córdoba town of la Cuesta del Espino on Monday morning, after the patrol had stopped to assist another vehicle.

The incident occurred at around 10:30 in the morning in the Madrid bound direction, smashing the patrol car, then tipping its trailer onto its side, spilling its load of cleaning products onto the carriageway.

Luckily, because the officers were involved in the assistance of the disabled vehicle, they were not in the car at the time and the truck driver also escaped without injury.
