Distractions whilst driving are one of the principle causes of road traffic incidents. Driving required your full attention at all times.

Some distractions are so subtle we might not even notice. Obvious distractions whilst driving are using your mobile phone, checking for texts or Whatsapp and Facebook or Twitter messages for example, setting your GPS, even listening to music or the radio, but passengers can also distract us, adults and children. Plus, tiredness, being sleepy is another form of distraction. On long journeys, take frequent breaks, if you start to feel tired, pull over in a safe and legal place and rest.

Remember, driving requires our full and undivided attention at all times.

This video shows the consequences of one driver being distracted.
