Road Closures and Diversions in Torrevieja

Torrevieja town hall has announced a series of road closures in order for the police to better direct traffic hoping to attend the Electromar fiesta in the town on Saturday.

The closures will be in place from 17:00 on Saturday 16th of July, until 08:00 the following morning. The roads affected will be Avda. Delfina Viudes to the Aquópolis roundabout, Avda. Rosa Mazón Valero to the football ground on Avda. Monge y Bielsa.

Access will also be restricted crossing Avda. Delfina viudes, from Avda. Rosa Mazón near to Gros Mercat, Calle Estay and Calle trasera near to Discoteca OZ and calle Panol.

Those attending the event are recommended to park away from the epicentre and walk the remainder of the way, whereas those not attending are recommended to avoid the area through the afternoon and evening to avoid being caught in the congestion.

There will be an increase in security checks in the area to ensure that everybody is as safe as possible and of course traffic police will be out in force to ensure that drunk and drug drivers are dealt with accordingly, whilst ensuring the safe flow of traffic to and from the event.
