A Torrevieja neighbourhood association says they’ve had a raw deal in the last 30 years with nine million euros in IBI taxes being paid to the council, with very little in return. Fifteen-hundred residents live in Toretta III and the association has published a legal report to look at what they claim are inadequacies across the board in the urbanisation which was built in the early eighties. Amongst the gripes is a lack of maintenance the roads, pavements, and street lighting, as well as the common green areas being ignored.
