A drunk driver caused excessive damage to a number of vehicles on Friday, having previously avoided an alcohol check-point in Seville.

The vehicle had been seen by Guardia Civil officers trying to avoid the check-point and so they pursued the vehicle which then crashed.
The local police joined the Guardia Civil in closing the area and controlling traffic whilst the officers then spoke to the driver responsible for the crash, finding the driver not only to be under the influence of alcohol, but also under age at only 16 years of age.
One of the victims had to be cut from their own car by the fire service. The driver was arrested and presented to the child courts.
