Torrevieja Commemorates International Day for Violence against Women
Torrevieja council held a minute’s silence last Friday in the city’s Plaza de la Constitución, as part of the commemorations of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Council members led by mayor José Manuel Dolón and social welfare councillor, África Celdrán, led the ceremony which included a symbolic release of balloons.
