Rafal’s Mayor, Manuel Pineda, is looking at legal action after an opposition politician accused him of changing plans for the town’s CV-912 bypass, so that the route would not go by his house.
Pineda, of the socialist PSOE party says that lawyers are looking into the accusations made by María Dolores Navarro of the Partido Popular, adding that “insult” and slander charges may be brought against her.
He added that the 500,00-euro project is being run by the Valencian regional government and not by Rafal council.
