Vega Baja Municipalities to Receive 7 Million Euro for Council Projects
Almost seven million euro is to be handed out by the Alicante Provincial Council to projects across municipalities in the Vega Baja. Almoradí, Benijófar, Bigastro, Catral, Daya Nueva, Dolores, Formentera del Segura, Los Montesinos, Pilar de la Horadada, Rafal, San Fulgencio, and San Miguel de Salinas will be amongst the areas that will benefit from the subsidies.
Almost seven million euro is to be handed out by the Alicante Provincial Council to projects across municipalities in the Vega Baja. Almoradí, Benijófar, Bigastro, Catral, Daya Nueva, Dolores, Formentera del Segura, Los Montesinos, Pilar de la Horadada, Rafal, San Fulgencio, and San Miguel de Salinas will be amongst the areas that will benefit from the subsidies.
Some of the works include a new path and bicycle track in Benijófar between the main town and the Atalaya urbanisation; the replacement of the main drain in Catral; new road signs in the San Fulgencio area; and the resurfacing of streets in Los Montesinos including Calle Santos Medicos and Calle Virgen del Remedio.
