Visitors to the facilities will be allowed to use a 30 minute connection, free of charge, including the “PlayRenfe” train and travel information service.

The Wi-Fi works from the entrance to the station and on the platform area and is described as being part of a “Comprehensive Plan for Improvements” of local routers, which also includes the ability to pay for tickets via your mobile.

A total of 20 stations are on the Wi-Fi network, in Madrid at Getafe Centro, Nuevos Ministerios, Sol, Méndez Álvaro, Príncipe Pío and Atocha Cercanías. In Barcelona at Arc de Triomf, Aeropuerto and Clot, as well as Plaza de Cataluña. On the local network, Santander AM, San Mamés (Bilbao), Elche Parque (Alicante), Gros (San Sebastián), Xátiva (Valencia), San Fernando (Cádiz), Llamaquique (Asturias), Goya (Zaragoza), Málaga Centro and San Bernardo (Sevilla) are all covered by the service.
