Cartagena Firefighters Attend Military Vehicle Crash

Firefighters from Cartagena attended a crash between military vehicles on Wednesday, where a number of soldiers were injured.

The incident occurred on the A-30 motorway, at kilometre 174, in the direction of Murcia, in the Municipality of Torre Pacheco.

The 112 emergency centre received a call at around 13:30, reporting that a truck and a military armoured vehicle had collided.

The Guardia Civil were dispatched to the scene, along with fire crews, who were also made aware of a fuel spill at the scene.

Five people, all men aged between 31 and 40, were treated for injuries at the scene before being transported to the Santa Lucia hospital in Cartagena.
