Ikea Warn of Gas Hob Withdrawal
Home furnishing giant Ikea has warned of a fault with their Eldslåga model gas hob, resulting in the withdrawal of the product from sale.
The company states that there is a fault in the fast burner, which is the one on the far right of the hob, in products purchased before January 1, 2018.
IKEA has also stated that there is no risk when using the rest of the burners and urges the users of one of these hobs to stop using the fast burner immediately and contact their customer service to carry out a technical inspection at their home.
The withdrawal is carried out after an investigation carried out by the Belgian authorities and affects the gas plates sold in European countries, including Spain.
Users can contact IKEA for more information and request a technical service visit by calling 900 400 922.
