Daily Exercise would Reduce Hypertensi Drug Dependency
Two out of ten hypertensive patients could deal with their symptoms without drugs, if they practised physical exercise daily, according to a report by a leading private medical care group.
The reason is simple, daily exercise would reduce the mercury blood pressure levels from 4 to 7 millimetres (mmdHg), causing the same effect as some drugs, according to the specialists at the Quirónsalud Torrevieja and Valencia.
The claim has been made in association with World Hypertension Day which is celebrated on 17 May.
