As a connoisseur of these local night walks, now that I’ve completed two, I can highly recommend them as an extremely fun community activity. I’m a resident of Torrevieja but have recently carried out the night walks organised by the town halls of Redovan and Almoradí – so it doesn’t matter where you live, so long as you register with the town hall for your participation.

This coming Friday 8 June, it’s the turn of Bigastro, with the IV edition of “Bigastro Bajo la Luna” – Bigastro Under the Moon.

To participate, you must register by Thursday 7 June, either at the town hall of Bigastro between 9h and 14.00h or at the Auditorium between 16.00h and 21.00h.

The walks are usually two hours long, with a short break for food and drink.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a torch so that they can see where they’re going in the dark!

Participants will be given a free t-shirt to wear before the walk and a ‘granizado’ (frozen drink) when they finish.

Date: Friday 8 June

Time: Leaving the Francisco Grau Auditorium at 21.00h

Address: Calle Acequia, 4, 03380 Bigastro, Alicante
