A cyclist has been reported by the Guardia Civil for being almost three times over the maximum permitted alcohol limit.
The cyclist was riding on the CM-4124 road near the Ciudad Real town of Bolaños de Calatrava when the officers stopped the rider and carried out the breathalyser test.
Cyclists are reminded that they are governed by the same rules as any other vehicle on the road and, therefore, are prohibited from riding with more than the prescribed limit of alcohol in their system.
