Girl Rescued from Drowning in Swimming Pool
A 7-year-old girl was hospitalised on Sunday after suffering symptoms of drowning in a swimming pool in the Alicante town of Torrevieja, as reported by the Emergency Information and Coordination Centre.
The incident occurred at around 15:30, when the centre received a call for help over the girl who had been rescued from the water but showing signs of drowning.
A paramedic unit was sent to the scene and treated the girl, who had already regained consciousness, before she was taken to Torrevieja hospital for further treatment.
