Sexual Assault Arrest

Officers from the Guardia Civil have arrested a Moroccan man in Pilar de la Horadada (Alicante), on suspicion of sexual violation of a 17-year-old girl in the town of San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia).

The incident is said to have occurred in the early hours of July 20, at around 04:00, in the Lo Pagan area known as ‘La Curva’.

The victim told officers that she was accompanied by her cousin, of legal age, when two men, believed to be of Moroccan origin, addressed and sexually assaulted her.

Investigators from the Judicial Police of Torrevieja took charge of the case and identified and arrested the alleged assailant yesterday in Pilar de la Horadada.
