Whilst leaving a home in Elche, where police officers were unable to locate a fugitive they were sent to arrest, one of the officers noticed a curious transaction taking place at the doorstep of a neighbouring home.

The officer witnesses a man pass a ticket to a girl of young teenage years, who gave them a small parcel in exchange.

After the transaction, the officer questioned the teenager, ascertaining that she was 14 years of age, whilst also asking colleagues to intercept the adult who had just left.

The officers entered the home and found one person using drugs, discovering that the address was being used for the provision of drugs through mail order. The individual who left was carrying a supply of drugs just purchased from the home.

The officers subsequently arresting the two adults responsible for the home, aged 35 and 37, on suspicion of drug trafficking, the teenager had apparently set up the email facility and, along with two other children, aged 2 and 4, was taken into care.
