There are a wide range of venues taking part, and, if you don’t know already, the idea is that you take in as many as you can so as to try and pick your favourites.

A special brochure is available from the tourist information offices which details all of the venues taking part, and we have provided a visual copy here for you, along with the map to help you find your way there, although if you partake too much in the gin and tonic part it might be finding your way home which is the more difficult part.

Plus, this weekend, the cultural department has organised a photography event in the city, in fact it´s now the third such event to have taken place, aimed at capturing  the imagery of the municipality.

The III Photography Days ‘Orihuela Town’, Fotomaton Festival, has its own website, www.fotomatonfestival.es, where you can find more information and even take part.

Also this weekend, in the beautiful Teatro Circo Atanasio Die, on Saturday, 17 November, Toni Bright ‘Do not believe the truth. Magic of the Mind’, a show of magic on behalf of the Cancer Association takes place.

Even though it is for a cancer charity, advanced tickets are just 3€, or 6€ from the box office, for this magical show of mystery.

On Sunday, 18 November, there is a free music event taking place, ‘The garden of our childhood’, and jumping ahead to Friday, 23 November, you can enjoy humour in Spanish with Faemino y Cansado.

You can see the entire schedule for the theatre at its dedicated website, cultura.orihuela.es/teatro-circo-2/, and as always get more details from the tourist information offices in the city and the town hall on the coast.
