300 Marijuana Plants Destroyed in Benidorm
Officers fro the National Police have dismantled a plantation of 300 marijuana plants in a villa in Benidorm (Alicante) and have arrested the head of the plantation after a witness gave a statement claiming that he had been seen intimidating a woman with a shotgun inside.
The police attended the property on the basis of the complaint of threatening behaviour and were allowed into the home. The offices found no evidence of a weapon or a threatening incident, but they observed numerous large fans and bags of fertiliser and conducted a search, finding the plants and two rooms used for drug cultivation, before arresting the 55-year-old Spanish resident.
