Baby Found Abandoned in San Javier
The emergency services in San Javier have rescued a baby, believed to be just 3 days old, found abandoned on a public road in San Javier.

The 112 Emergency Coordination Centre received a call just after 15:00 on Wednesday reporting the baby on the roadside. The caller reported that the baby appeared to be “newborn” and was accompanied by a written note.
The Local Police attended the scene and confirmed the baby was located on calle Las Cortes, requesting an ambulance attend the scene.
An emergency ambulance was immediately sent to assist and medics took the seemingly healthy little girl to the Los Arcos del Mar Menor University General Hospital to be cared for by the paediatric unit whilst the social services department will take charge of the child.
