An Irish tourist has drowned late Saturday while in the beach area of the playa del hotel Fariones, en Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. The emergency services received the alert at around 3pm on Saturday, immediately attending the scene, but there was nothing anybody could do to preserve life.
