HOSPITAL CUTS A THREAT TO LIFE

A Deputy of the United Left party in Torrevieja, Marina Albiol, has criticized the cuts being made in the health service by the Ministry, as part of the JV (Joint Venture) which directs the management of Torrevieja Hospital.

According to the deputy, “these cuts will undoubtedly kill. They are being made in all the areas providing, basic life support, including vehicles and staff. The cuts will also be made to the number of temporary hospital staff who are usually brought in to cater for the influx of thousands of holidaymakers during the summer.
