Checking Limits

La Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT) has upped the number of mobile radar speed traps across the Valencian region with a focus on roads which have seen an increasing number of accidents. Monitoring was increased over last weekend’s holiday period and one route that is being covered more extensively is the N-332 between Torrevieja and Santa Pola. DGT

On Friday morning, officers from the Guardia Civil attended a serious traffic accident in the AP-7 (Rojales).

Residents in the Juan XXIII area of Alicante were woken with a surprise on Tuesday morning when a garbage collection truck caught fire and exploded whilst carrying out its collection rounds.
