Starting at 11am the children took part in a large selection of water activities and group games throughout the morning after which every participant received a medal and a small flag commemorating their involvement in such a momentous day.

Organisation of the event was by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, together with the cooperation of municipal workers and employees from CP Alicante (Villena) and IES Haygón (San Vicente).

The Pilar Councillor for Sports, Adrian Lopez, highlighted the work of all those involved in the day which brings such a large turnout into the town every year.
