GORDON BURGESS VISITS MOJACAR

On Saturday 20 October 2012, a real-life Pioneer is coming to Mojacar. His name is Gordon Burgess and he came to Spain some 50 years ago with his wife and young child, living in a Van and risking imprisonment by the Franco-run regime of the time, for smuggling in Bibles and preaching the Gospel.

Gordon has in those 50 years planted 50 Churches, for both British and Spanish congregations. He has had a very varied life, finding its direction totally changed by God when he was in the British Navy. He is still very active Pastoring a Church in Alicante to this day, even though he is over 80 years of age.

Gordon is this month´s Speaker, at the Breakfast Meeting organised by the FGBMFI (Full Gospel Business Men´s Fellowship International) and people from all areas and backgrounds come to these very informal gatherings, some as far away from Mojacar as Puerto Lumbreras, and despite broken bridges and roads that have disappeared recently, these people have booked themselves in again for this coming Breakfast Meeting..a recommendation indeed.
