In the Lower House of Parliament on Wednesday, Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón explained that the Government’s intentions are based on “introducing efficiency and clarity” into the procedure for granting Spanish nationality by incorporating Supreme Court case law and establishing objective and standardised criteria into the integration test performed by civil registrars.
