The Minister for Agriculture, Food and Environmental Affairs said that, thanks to the agreement reached on the European Union budget for the period 2014-2020, “Spain will receive more money for direct aid and for rural development than in the current period 2007-2014”. This was his answer to the question from the Socialist group in the Lower House of Parliament on the funding to be received by the autonomous regions under the framework of aid from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
