Cyclist killed by drugged driver

One of two cyclists seriously injured when run over by a drugged driver in Mont-Roig del Camp has died this afternoon at the hospital of Bellvitge (Barcelona), where he was admitted in a critical condition.

The victim was hit at 11:30 this morning while driving down the N-340, with another cyclist, who remains in a serious condition at the Hospital Joan XXIII in Tarragona.

The Police drug tested the driver of a Porsche Andorra, who was arrested for a crime against road safety, following a positive result for cocaine.
