The Government of Spain hopes it will contribute to the consolidation of peace, the protection of human rights and play an important role in advancing the democratic process currently under way in the country by supporting the Government of Somalia and the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM), as well as contributing to the consolidation of security and the establishment of the rule of law.
