Police have begun searching another new area, this time in a location at Majaloba in La Rinconada, where, according to the latest testament of Miguel Carcaño, he and his brother, Francisco Javier Delgado, buried Marta del Castillo on the night of January 24, 2009 after killing her with a blow from the butt of a gun.
This is the latest in a long line of versions of the story, though the hope of finding the body and laying her to rest has never left those involved in one of the highest profile cases in Spain´s recent history.
