In the Lower House of Parliament on Thursday, the Minister for the Treasury and Public Administration Services, Cristóbal Montoro, defended a proposed constitutional law to create the Independent Fiscal Responsibility Authority (Spanish acronym: AIRF) an independent and autonomous authority “that will guarantee compliance with the principles of budgetary stability and financial sustainability”.
