The Minister for Public Works, Ana Pastor, announced today that the high-speed railway network will reach Granada in 2015 and that the travel time to Madrid will be significantly reduced by 1 hour 40 minutes, from 4 hours 25 minutes to 2 hours 45 minutes (37.7% faster). Similarly, the Granada-Seville connection will also benefit from a one-hour travel time reduction from the current 3 hours to 2 hours (33.3% faster).
