Net foreign investment shows a surplus of 6.63 billion euros, which compares with a deficit of 11.55 billion euros in the first half of 2012. 77% of foreign investment was concentrated in three sectors: financial and insurance activities, the manufacturing industry and construction. 86% of investment was concentrated in Madrid, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.
