On Wednesday, the Minister for Defence, Pedro Morenés, oversaw the transfer of the ‘Ruy González de Clavijo’ Provincial Support Base to the Afghan National Army in the town of Qala-i-Naw (Afghanistan). The 130 Spanish military personnel will be withdrawn from the base in Qala-i-Naw during the early hours of the morning.
