Costa Blanca’s eclectic international communities were at their most colourful on Sunday September 22.

The Indonesian and Dutch communities celebrated a mostly happy co-existence during the Dutch colonisation of what is now Indonesia.

The trading relationship known as the Dutch East Indies that began in 1800 ended in 1949. The affections between the two nations people have were evident at Guardamar’s Marjal Holiday Resort near Torrevieja.
