The Executive Board of UNESCO has decided, in the first round of voting, to re-appoint the current Director-General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, as leader of this organisation for the next four years. The Government of Spain congratulates Irina Bokova and the Government of Bulgaria on her re-appointment.
