Spain strongly condemns the attack by an armed group on the convoy under the African Union-United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID), Sudan, in which three Senegalese blue berets were killed. This is a serious attack on the United Nations blue beret personnel who work in pursuit of peace and security in the region and, hence represents an affront to the international community as a whole that should not go unpunished.
