HUEY MORGAN OF FUN LOVIN’ CRIMINALS’ STORMS OFF ‘NEVERMIND THE BUZZCOCKS’ TV SHOW
BBC 6Music and Front Lovin Criminals’ lead singer, Huey Morgan, has stormed off the set of the music quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
In an episode broadcast on November 4 on the BBC, Huey Morgan smashed a mug next to team captain Phill Jupitus and teammate Laura Whitmore after a heated exchange with hip hop due Rizzle Kicks, the hosts of Never Mind the Buzzcocks for the evening.
Morgan became annoyed during the ‘next lines’ segment of the show, when he was asked to complete lines from songs by his own band, Huey Morgan made the remark, “I just thought you guys might do something different for a change. … I’ve been on the show like nine times.”
“It’s part of the game Huey. It’s next lines mate,” replied Jordan.
The Fun Lovin’ Criminals singer demolished the mug on the table narrowly missing team captain, Phil Jupitus, and fellow team member, Laura Whitmore.
Rap duo Rizzle Kicks kept their cool and made light of Huey Morgan’s temper tantrum as they hosted the show for their first time.
