19/11/2013. Elena Poniatowska was awarded the 2013 Miguel de Cervantes Award for Literature in the Spanish Language on Tuesday. The decision reached by the panel was announced by the Minister for Education, Culture and Sport, José Ignacio Wert, during an event held at the headquarters of the State Secretariat of Culture.
