13/12/2013. Spain welcomes the agreement reached between the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo and M-23 that brings a period of violence and destabilisation in this country to an end and offers a new opportunity for peace and security in the whole region. Spain likewise congratulates the neighbouring countries of the Democratic Republic of Congo that have discreetly, but effectively, enabled this agreement to be reached.
