13/01/2014. 2014 has begun well for the Spanish National Transplant Organisation (Spanish acronym: ONT): it is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a new all-time record of 4,279 transplants and growth in all types of organ transplantation thanks to the generosity of 1,655 donors. The Spanish organ donor rate in 2013 stood at 35.12 donors per million population.
